People, Products & Purpose

July 8, 2009 By Jay Goluguri

The Nokia N95 saved my day!

This morning I was trying frantically to record a video of a demo and upload it onto youtube with a Canon Vixia HG20 (Hard disk HD camcorder). However, on recording the video I found that – it impossibly tough to transfer the recorded video onto the PC (for edit & upload onto the web). It seems to use a proprietary way to store the recorded video & they are not even accessible in USB mass storage mode.

Thanks to the now few years old technology – I was able to re-record it, edit it on the phone & upload it directly to youtube.

Thanks to open platforms, open formats & everything ‘open’. (& the N95).
